Baruch’s crew is made up of “Team Watson”.

Glenn & Liane (Mama Bear & Papa G), Hannah (20), Kye (14) & Kalani (13).

Home is Mt Martha which is on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, Australia.

We love the opportunity to hang out together on boats, eating fabulous food and exploring new places together. The simplicity of life on board and the spontaneity of being able to hangout in a place we love for a few days longer or move on to the next town or anchorage is part of what we love when on board and something our “on-shore lives” does not allow very much of.

We are far from “live aboards” due to other commitments & priorities but we try and go somewhere fabulous for as long as we can “get away with it” each year. When on board for extended periods Kye & Kalani “yacht school” - which is like home schooling…. but way cooler!

Here is a little bit about us…

Glenn is a boat tragic, having grown up racing catamarans & windsurfing then having a 10 plus year break from both while trying to navigate a business, marriage & kids.

Liane was “road tested” prior to marriage by crewing on a racing catamaran with Glenn. She soon discovered the mild mannered ‘soon to be husband’ was not so mild mannered on a race course and was put off sailing until she discovered that boats were a great way to drink lots of champagne in beautiful places!

Hannah finished Year 12 in 2016 and took off on a wonderful year of travelling adventures in Europe & Canada. She enjoyed her first gap year so much she decided to do it again in 2018! this time in her faithful campervan “Esther”.

You can read more about her adventures here:

Kye - like his Dad is also a boat tragic! Kye sails an F18 catamaran with Dad and is also a fantastic crew on the “big boat” having racked up quite a few sea miles now.

Kye’s happiest place is at the wheel or a tiller.

Kalani’s happy place is actually with her beloved horse - “Raphael”. Luckily for her and the family - she also enjoys quality time together on board Baruch and is actually an excellent crew.

Kalani has an amazing voice so she also doubles as our onboard musician!
